JV Softball takes 3rd Place

The Hillsboro JV Softball team took 3rd place in the 12th Annual Tiger Cub Softball Tournament at Festus.  The Hawks scores were as follows: Hillsboro 1 DeSoto 9 Hillsboro 18 Northwest 7 Hillsboro 14 Jackson 6 The Hawks are coached by Tish Naeger and improved their record to 11 – 3 on the season.

Varsity Soccer Finishes Tough Week 2 – 2

The Hillsboro Varsity Soccer team (record 5 – 5) finished a tough week 2 – 2.  The Hawks fell to SLUH JV 2-0, and Cape Notre Dame 2-0.  The Hawks picked up two key JCAA Conference victories over DeSoto 1-0, and Perryville 1-0 (PK’s).  The Hawks will compete next week at home in the 6th Annual Hillsboro Boys Soccer Tournament

Aaron Dugan (5th), Hannah Bopp (15th), and Kelly Koester (17th) all placed and brought home a medal on September 21, 2013 at the Festus Bowles Invitational.  Koester was running in her first varsity meet and ran a personal best 21:34.
